Guy brags about his ‘primo’ video of bird hitting plane
4/20/2012On Thursday, Delta Flight 1063 took off from New York's JFK airport but had to make an immediate emergency landing after hitting a bird. One somewhat-famous passenger with a window seat caught the bird strike with his iPad's camera. Unfortunately, it was National Geographic host and "sales and business expert" Grant Cardone, who's trying to turn the Sullenbergian near-miss into an opportunity for self-promotion. "I had the PRIMO seat on this flight to record this," Cardone boasts in one of the post-flight videos he recorded (and OF COURSE this guy would walk through the airport filming himself on an iPad) and stamped with his website address. MediaBistro snarks, "So much for that whole turning off electronics rule, huh?"
What do you think about Cardone’s post-flight play-by-play?
