See the saucy Guy Fieri skit 'SNL' decided not to air

11/19/2012

We’re not sure why "Saturday Night Live" didn’t air this delicious sketch in which Bobby Moynihan, as Guy Fieri, dropped by Weekend Update to respond to the beyond-scathing New York Times review of his new Times Square eatery, but at least NBC has dished up dress rehearsal footage. “Grouping me in with regular New York restaurants is like comparing apples and fat dirt,” Moynihan’s Fieri contends, adding that while snobby New Yorkers may sniff at his donkey-sauce-smothered delicacies, if you’re a tourist who “just shopped at the M&M store and you’re wearing a foam Statue of Liberty visor,” you’ll love his “awesome pretzel chicken tenders with a side of dump juice.” We’ll take his word for it.
