Photo nabs handcuffed partners in crime kissing en route to court

Good photography is all about timing. Mo Gelber just so happened to be hanging outside a Manhattan Criminal Court in August when a young, handcuffed couple walked by his lens, looking surprisingly romantic, given they were being arrested for a graffiti spree. The photo he took of the moment, “Last Kiss,” has gotten a great reception overall, but a photo contest, Project Imagination, threatened to reject the entry unless he could identify the canoodling criminals. He found the female half — Alexis Creque, 28 — via posting the photo on Facebook, who said Gelber could use the image only after her other half is released from jail.
