'Chick bank robber' brags on YouTube and (surprise!) lands in jail

12/4/2012

If you want to get away with bank robbery, it's probably not the best idea to post a YouTube video of yourself called "Chick Bank Robber" in which you brag about robbing a bank, flash more than $6,000 in cash and wear the same outfit you had on when you allegedly committed your crime. Hannah Sabata, 19, also boasted that she'd stolen a "shiny" Pontiac Grand Am in her uniquely compelling video (which, be forewarned, shows drug use). Though the Nebraska woman called her reported run of crime the "best day of my life," she's now in the hands of authorities, who recovered all but $30 of the stolen cash. Her days in the slammer probably won't be quite as exciting. [Source]
