Texting while you walk might soon be illegal in Nevada
3/3/2013People who text as they walk down the sidewalk are a danger to themselves and others. If nothing else, they put themselves in danger of us punching them straight in the face, but never did we think someone would legislate against it. Well, that hero has emerged: Assemblyman Harvey Mumford of Las Vegas, who proposed a law saying no more texting on Nevada state roads or intersections, or even quiet neighborhoods. The penalty for a first and second offense would be a warning; the third time would be a stiff fine ($250!). Can texting while someone is talking to you please be next? [Source]
