Heartless car thief steals earrings from baby in seat

A car thief who discovered a one-year-old girl in the back seat of the SUV he'd just stolen proved grand theft auto wasn't his lowest low: He stole the baby's earrings before ditching the car. Police in Allentown, Penn., say a woman left her car running with her daughter in the back seat while bringing groceries into her home, and when she returned, the car was gone. Fortunately, the baby was found unharmed, although blingless, but hopefully her parents will at least take the keys out of the ignition next time.
