Heartless thief steals car of man busy saving woman's life

6/20/2012

Today in the "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" department, we have the story of an unnamed Russian businessman whose $92,000 Audi was stolen while he was busy saving a drowning woman from a Moscow river. The man watched as the woman's husband crashed their out-of-control Volvo through a fence and plunged into the water below. He jumped in after them, and the woman swam to her Audi-borne guardian angel, who brought her to safety. (Sadly, her husband was killed.) Meanwhile, a less civic-minded scumbag made off with the rescuer's car, clothes and ID. "I don't even have apartment keys now," the man said. "I wonder how I get home."
