3 dead after helicopter crashes filming reality-TV show
2/11/2013Three people have died in a helicopter crash while filming a reality-TV show in northern Los Angeles County. The crash occurred at the popular filming location Polsa Rosa Ranch in Acton, and the crew worked for production company Eyeworks USA, best known for creating NBC's "The Biggest Loser." The crash claimed the lives of all three people onboard, who were listed on permits as shooting an untitled military-themed show for the Discovery Channel. The Federal Aviation Administration, which had approved use of the helicopter for the shoot, said the causes of the crash were not yet known. [Source]
