Heroic man jumps into vat of acid to save coworker
5/8/2012A New Jersey construction worker didn't think twice about risking his own life when he jumped into a vat of acid to save a coworker who had just fallen in. The two men were repairing the roof of a manufacturing plant when officials say the first fell through a weak spot and into a vat of nitric acid. His coworker immediately jumped in after him and managed to pull him to safety. The first man suffered burns from "head to toe" according to reports, while his rescuer suffered burns up to his waist.
