Hiding behind emo bangs may actually be bad for your eyes

Hey, all you kids out there with your emo bangs, it's time to get that shag cut because it could be ruining your eyesight. An optometrist in Australia is warning that the floppy 'dos could be causing an epidemic of lazy eyes among the too-cool-for-school crowd. "If a young emo chap has a fringe covering one eye all the time, that eye won't see a lot of detail," Andrew Hogan, director of education at the Optometrists Association of Tasmania warned. If such an impediment happens at a young age, it can result in an eye becoming amblyotic, the technical term for "lazy." So as cool as you think that haircut might be, two fully functioning eyeballs are so much cooler.
