Hey ladies: Squeezing your feet into heels really does make you hotter

Looks like those ladies slicing off parts of their toes so their feet fit better into high heels might be onto something. Researchers from the University of Portsmouth, England, say wearing heels really does make women appear more attractive. Male and female subjects watched videos of walking women (which only illuminated key parts of the body, so the women would be judged only on how they moved) and gave the heel-wearers "significantly" higher attractiveness ratings. Women in flat shoes were nearly twice as likely to be perceived as men. It's speculated that wearing high heels emphasizes "sex-specific aspects" of women's bodies. [Source]
