High school basketball player dominates with only one arm
3/3/2012Landus Anderson is a better basketball player with one hand than most people are with two. Anderson, who suffers from Erb's Palsy and has virtually no use of his right arm, is averaging more than 19 points and 8 rebounds per game for Florida High, a teaching high school for Florida St. University, and hopes to play Division I hoops in college. An AAU coach called Anderson an "every 20 or 30 years" talent for whom "the sky is the limit," but the player has remained humble. "I like when people come harder at me than they come at another player," he told the AP. "I like challenges." The junior's next challenge: nabbing a college hoops scholarship.
