If you've ever had any doubt that firefighters put themselves in intense danger on a regular basis, this sobering highlight reel from a Michigan firefighter's helmet cam should alleviate that. Scott Ziegler, who fights fires for the Detroit neighborhood of Highland Park, scorched several lenses and helmet mounts while recording video during his 2012 fire calls. If this reel isn't enough hair-raising proof of the work firefighters do, Ziegler has also posted a bunch of unedited clips from individual calls.
