If you still don’t think Hillary Clinton’s a tough old broad, you weren’t on the tarmac at Lilongwe International Airport this morning. The secretary of state and her entourage were preparing to board a plane after wrapping up their tour of Malawi in southeast Africa when a storm of bees descended on the group. Everyone scattered, including Clinton, who ran into the jet for cover. “There was a slight panic as the bees winged across the airport,” says a witness. “The secretary of state swiftly boarded her plane to avoid any stings.” We’re glad everyone’s OK, but we were never too worried about our gal Hillary — she’s endured far worse barbs than this.
