Hillary Clinton is hospitalized after doctors find blood clot
12/31/2012Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in the hospital undergoing treatment for a blood clot. Doctors discovered the clot during a routine checkup following her stomach virus and concussion earlier this month. According to her deputy assistant Philippe Reines, Clinton, who is 65, will remain under observation at New York Presbyterian Hospital for 48 hours. "Her doctors will continue to assess her condition, including other issues associated with her concussion," Reines said. "They will determine if any further action is required." Clinton had been scheduled for a brief return to work before the official commencement of President Obama's second term in January. [Source]
