Tired of job hunting? Experts talk of a 2013 hiring boom
12/22/2012Start knocking on wood now, because we don't want to jinx this encouraging news: Economy experts are predicting a "hiring boom" in early 2013. In the past month the economy added 146,000 jobs, and they can't be all holiday part-time retail shifts, right? Despite dread over the fiscal cliff, the tax increases and spending cuts planned for the end of 2012, consumers have been happily (obliviously?) spending all through the busy holiday season, and the unemployment rate is the lowest its been in four years at 7.9 percent. So keep your fingers crossed for a hiring boom in 2013. [Source]
