Hockey-playing senior video will give you goose bumps
4/17/2012This is either a great ad for a retirement community or an even better ad for hockey. Either way, you won't forget 65-year-old Diane Pieknik. The Michigan senior citizen lost her job two years ago, but today she's blissfully learning ice hockey in the 18-and-over Novi Hockey League. Pieknik is a Detroit Red Wings nut, and recently took to the sport with the zeal of a convert, and the result is this surprisingly inspiring ad for a retirement community. Her motto is: "Success is getting up one more time than you fall down."
