Nice homecoming nominees make special-needs junior king instead

Jesse Cooper, Drew Gibbs and Zeke Grissom — we salute you. The three Unionville Community High School students in Tennessee were nominated for homecoming king but decided instead to give that honor to junior Scotty Maloney, a special needs student who has Williams Syndrome, a neurological disorder. Maloney was announced as homecoming king to the cheers of his fellow students and received a standing ovation as he was awarded his "King" medal, which apparently he's been wearing ever since.
