Oracle's popular computer language is being exploited by hackers, according to the government, and now the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is advising users to disable Java in their Internet browsers. That's a pretty drastic step considering that it could impact hundreds of millions of computers, but the bug allows hackers to perform identity theft and infect previously safe sites. "We are currently unaware of a practical solution to this problem," read a statement on the department's website. Which we assume hasn't already been compromised. [Source]
