Group of homeless men save 15-year-old damsel in distress

9/22/2012

One day after sex offender Kevin Long was released from jail, he got on a bus and spotted a lone 15-year-old girl. There were a few homeless men nearby on the bus, but like many people might, he either dismissed or didn’t notice them. According to Curtis Mitchell, one of the homeless men on the bus, he crudely verbally harassed the school-bound teen before lurching at her, reportedly grabbing her crotch. It was at that moment the five homeless men, some of them disabled, sprang into action, grabbing Long’s legs and pinning him down until the bus driver could make it to the transit center where authorities were waiting. Proving even heroes have hard times and kindness doesn’t cost a thing, these guys are true gentlemen. [Source]
