Homeless people deliver TV weather reports across Europe
2/1/2013An ad firm is persuading European TV stations to let homeless people give the weather report. Saatchi & Saatchi came up with the Days of Hope campaign and recently placed a 42-year-old homeless man before the cameras at Romania's Prima TV; another homeless reporter also broadcast from Russia, and the company hopes to encourage channels across Europe to do the same. The homeless reporters won't just report on the day's weather and how those conditions affect them — they'll also talk about their lives and invite donations to the initiative, which is raising awareness of the plight of the homeless across Europe.
