Hooker talk creates awkward 'Bring Your Kid to Work Day'
4/27/2012Today was "Bring Your Child to Work Day," and for many kids, the tradeoff of having a day off from school is mitigated by having to spend hours in offices in which their parents sometimes don't even want to be. At least the kids who got to visit the State Department had a stimulating experience. During her regular morning briefing, State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland was asked by a reporter about new allegations that Secret Service agents in El Salvador allegedly hired prostitutes. A visibly uncomfortable Nuland joked, "What a subject to be talking about on Bring Your Kid to Work Day." Nuland later told the parents "you can explain all of this later."
