Hope Solo defends jailed hubby on Twitter, redefines what abuse is
11/29/2012Two weeks after marrying (and allegedly abusing) Hope Solo, former pro-footballer Jerramy Stevens is in jail in Florida for a probation violation related to his pre-wedding domestic abuse arrest. Stevens' trip to the clink has apparently freed Solo to spend quality time on Twitter, where the soccer star is defending Stevens ("not guilty," she insists). She's also been arguing the semantics of abuse with a fan who questioned her contention that she'd never been hit, even though the fan points out "you've accused two [other] men of hitting you in ur book." "[A] slap and a push is not a Hit! I have never been HIT!!!!," tweeted Solo. All clear now? [Source]
