'Horrible' audition tape wins commercial gig

Sometimes it pays, literally, to break the rules a bit, as comedian and actor Andrew Hunt demonstrates with this video. Called upon to submit a "sincere/serious" audition video for a charity commercial, Hunt landed the part by sending in this doozy, featuring his impressions of a shoe, a power outlet, a snake, a foreign snake and an "unenthusiastic baseball player being interviewed after he just lost a game, but he's also slowly morphing into an angry dinosaur." Hunt's creativity and imagination are obviously revving high, but we wonder how this attention-getting approach would fare in a normal job interview.
