Police and sewage workers rescue a horse stuck in a septic tank
2/20/2013This is one horse you definitely don't want showing up in your burger. Police Rescue personnel were called out to a farm at Caniaba, near the Australian resort town of Byron Bay, after a horse plunged into the fetid depths of a septic tank. Luckily, its head and neck were above the sewage, which gave the cops time to call in for assistance from council sewage workers. The workers pumped out most of the "night soil" and used a crane to free the beast. The horse was reportedly unharmed by the ordeal. The cops say when they left the scene, it was getting a well-earned shower. [Source]
