What's in this frozen lasagna? Why, it's horse, of course
2/8/2013Don't like your burgers to be made out of horsemeat? Then try the lasagna! Yep. Horse meat is continuing to trend for all the wrong reasons. Tests revealed that the meat in a popular line of Findus frozen lasagna sold in major supermarkets in the U.K. contained up to 100 percent "beef." And, by beef, we mean "horse." Not surprisingly, the dish was manufactured in France, where they don't mind hooking into a little Sea Biscuit once in a while. Findus offered the standard corporate apology "to our customers for any inconvenience caused." Lame. [Source]
