10/23/2012It isn't a presidential debate without a good meme: First we had Big Bird, then binders full of women, and now horses and bayonets. In the third debate, Obama answered Romney's criticisim that the navy is smaller than it has been since 1917 by quipping that "we also have fewer horses and bayonets." The Internet picked up the line and ran with it, rapidly producing Facebook pages, Tumblrs and Twitter parody accounts overflowing with riffs on the joke.
