Funny video reveals how people react to hugs from strangers
8/7/2012Andrew Hales and his sister Jaclyn are back at it. This time, the duo -- who gained fame by holding hands with strangers, to mixed results -- have taken it up a notch and released a video of themselves trying to hug complete strangers. So how'd it go? Well, smartly, they chose California's eclectic Venice Beach as their testing grounds, no doubt an environment more friendly to this sort of thing than, say, an urban downtown area. Still, it's an interesting look at society. Some people are more than willing to embrace a stranger and feel a connection; others aren't shy to offer up a stern "get away from me."
