Delusional Chavez offers totally useless endorsement for Obama

It's the one endorsement that President Obama probably didn't want. With some of his opponents already labeling him a socialist, the last thing the president needed was the backing of self-proclaimed Marxist Hugo Chavez. "I hope this doesn't harm Obama, but if I was from the United States, I'd vote for Obama," the Venezuelan president said Sunday on state TV. Before Democratic campaign managers even had time to put their heads in their hands, there was more good news: Chavez, who's running for re-election himself this month, went on to say that "if Obama was from Barlovento or some Caracas neighborhood, he'd vote for Chavez."
