2/19/2013One thing you do NOT want to lose is your hula hoop. So back off, thieves, this baby's protected. No one is walking off with this twirling toy — not on this hippie's watch. The funny photo, which some commenters say was taken in 2012 at Portland State University in Oregon, has resurfaced with a vengeance, running circles around the Internet. It's hard to say whether it's funnier that someone was so attached to the circus toy they strapped it with a steel padlock, or that the steel padlock makes it look like a mode of transportation, leaving us with the vision of a chick in fuzzy legwarmers riding it to Burning Man.
