Ice-swimmers and topless women invade Russian polls

3/5/2012

There's now officially no excuse to say you can't get to the voting booth come Election Day. These hearty Siberians swam half-naked to the polls in Barnaul, where temperatures registered as low as 28 degrees Fahrenheit, to vote in the Russian presidential election. Election officials -- already overwhelmed at the polls this voting season by impromptu Caucasian-mountaineer dancing, topless women with "I steal for Putin" painted on their breasts, and five heart attacks -- asked the swimmers to leave the station.
