Idiot tests bulletproof vest by shooting himself

The Darwin Awards very nearly had their early frontrunner for 2012, after this guy fired a bullet into his stomach ... and lived to post the video on YouTube. Buzzfeed alerted us to the scholar, who decided to test out his bulletproof vest the old-fashioned way and film the results. Warning: This video is hard to watch even if you know (spoiler alert!) that he lives. The shot is fired from point-blank range at around the 1:20 mark and is immediately followed by a torrent of NSFW words to accompany the tummy pain.
