Teen allegedly drives 60 miles to beat up Facebook rumormonger
1/24/2013A virtual spat on Facebook turned into a real-life girl fight when an Indiana teen went on a 60-mile road trip to beat up a 17-year-old she said spread rumors about her. The fuming 16-year-old reportedly set off from her Monticello home in a pickup truck, her rage apparently continuing to percolate as she drove. She reportedly arrived at the other girl’s LaPorte home, knocked the alleged rumormonger down and kicked her, only stopping when the victim's mother tore the girls apart. The Monticello suspect took off but was arrested when cops found her driving by the victim's home again. Yep, Facebook's a great place to spread rumors — and to issue apologies. [Source]
