Two NFL cheerleaders shave heads, raise $22,000 for leukemia research
11/26/2012There's no doubt that the Indianapolis Colts franchise does solidarity incredibly well. After head coach Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia, his players shaved their heads, and now two cheerleaders have joined them. Colts cheerleader Megan M. had vowed to lose her locks if the franchise could raise $10,000 for leukemia research before yesterday's game against the Buffalo Bills. That figure was easily exceeded by $12,000 thanks to Megan and fellow cheerleader Crystal Ann, so the two sat on the side of the field during the fourth quarter to have their heads shaved — first by Blue, the Colts mascot, then by a professional stylist. We think they look (and are) amazing. [Source]
