Baby loses finger in fox attack (don't fret, he got the finger back)

A four-week old baby is bruised and bandaged but "recovering well" after being attacked by a fox in his southeast London home. Tiny Denny Dolan had been sleeping in his crib when his mother heard screams and ran toward his room. She opened the door and discovered that the fox had dragged him onto the floor and "the baby's hand was in the jaws of the fox." She kicked and fought the animal until it let him go, but not before one of the child's fingers was completely severed. The finger was reportedly reattached after a long operation.
