Instagram responds: 'We've heard you' on TOS outrage
12/18/2012It's been a no good, very bad day for Instagram — and now the company, which debuted new terms of service that seemed to allow them to sell users' images to advertisers, is scrambling. Instagram tweeted: "We've heard you that the updates to our Privacy Policy & Terms of Service are raising a lot of questions." And on its blog, the company adds, “It is not our intention to sell your photos,” though it admits it wants to make money off them. It’s clear that a day of #boycottinstagram got the attention of those it was meant to influence. [Source]
