iPad users complain the new gadget is too hot to handle
3/19/2012The new iPad 3 has sold like figurative hotcakes, but some of the lucky consumers who scored one say that the tech gadget is literally too hot to hold. Complaints are starting to surface on Apple forums that the iPad is overheating after only about 30 minutes of use. The heat has been attributed by some tech writers to the larger battery, which the new device needs for its retina display. Others, meanwhile, say it may be the chip. Nevertheless, we can only wonder how long it takes for Apple to respond that you're just holding it wrong. Surely a remedy isn't far away - like a special case that you have to buy.
