Iran sends sniper teams to combat Tehran's hordes of 'mutant' rats
3/4/2013Ten teams of sharpshooters equipped with infrared sights have been deployed to Tehran to combat the new wave of "mutant" rats plaguing the city. "It's become a 24/7 war," said the head of Tehran's environmental agency, presumably while staring grimly out a window. Unfortunately, it seems like the rats are winning: "They seem to have had a genetic mutation," said one environmental adviser. "They are bigger now and look different. These are changes that normally take millions of years of evolution," he continued, noting that rats weighing up to 10 pounds have been killed in the city. Maybe they should be training them to sniff out landmines? [Source]
