Iraq war vet shows real Chicago Cubs loyalty on his fake eye

2/22/2013

Some sports fans show their love and loyalty by wearing their team logos on their shirts or caps. Others by emblazoning them on their eyeballs. That's what one dedicated Chicago Cubs fan has done. (And you thought you were a dedicated fan.) According to a tweet from Smithsonian magazine, an Iraq war veteran choosing a prosthetic eyeball has passed by peepers with standard blue or brown irises for one with a red and blue Cubbies logo front and center.
