Watch this guy re-do 'Iron Man 3' with no special effects
11/14/2012Sure, the trailer for the real, multi- million-dollar "Iron Man 3" looks impressive and all, what with dudes jumping off buildings and back-to-back fiery explosions. But do we really need all of that pomp and spectacle? Why not go back to the basics of filmmaking and do it swede-style, a la director Michael Gondry? (He coined the spoof genre that's taken on a life of its own.) Here, some guys from Califronia have remade the iconic teaser, presumably to "preserve the integrity of the art," using only available materials. Yes, that includes sound effects too, if you were wondering. They obviously didn't have a synthesizer on hand, but hey, voices make great instruments too!
