'Best friend' of Sandy Hook victim says goodbye with touching letter
12/18/2012It's never easy to understand a tragedy like the one in Newtown, but it's especially hard for children to express themselves when they realize their friends are gone. USA Today reporter Yamiche Alcindor tweeted a photo today of a letter written by John, a little boy who says 6-year-old victim Jack Pinto was his "best friend." John, who included pictures of the two of them, tells Jack in the note that the two of them had fun together and that he'll miss him. He adds that he'll talk to Jack in his prayers, before ending with "I love you." [Source]
