Meet Jackmeoff Mudd, star Floridian

We have two guesses as to how this 54-year-old South Florida man came to be known as Jackmeoff Mudd. The man, who was arrested this week for assault, disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol in an open container, may have had the world's worst parents, who doomed him, from birth, to a life of petty crime, unrealized expectations, and failed dreams. Or perhaps Mr. Mudd was wasted when he was arrested (see: "possession of alcohol") and gave himself a name of his own, drunken making. We hope -- for the sake of our continued belief in the general goodness of people everywhere -- that it was option B. [Source]
