James Blunt quitting music is 'Beautiful' news to Twitter10/22/2012
James Blunt announced he's retiring from the music biz after a stellar career that saw the 38-year-old rack up 18 million in album sales, five Grammy nominations and other assorted hardware, including two Brit Awards and a couple of MTV Music Video Awards. But Twitter's being, well, blunt about the ex-army officer's talent — or lack thereof — with zingers like @ItsRyanSparrow's "James Blunt's announced he's no longer making music, i could have told him that 10 years ago," and @_davidcasey's "It's funny that he thinks he's still relevant." The "You're Beautiful" crooner's already endured endless jabs at his toffee-nosed upbringing, but today's tweets like "Beautiful news," have really got to sting. Let's all watch Blunt perform his signature hit (above) for the last time, and remember we'll never be with him. It's true. [Source]
