Ex-prof wants to give James Franco another D — for defamation
9/5/2012It seems that James Franco put fewer than 127 hours into getting his Master of Fine Arts degree from NYU. Professor José Angel Santana's lawsuit against the school claims he was canned for giving Franco a D for constant truancy and says the film star defamed him. Franco doesn't deny playing hooky, but huffed that "I've been in eight years of acting class … and I didn't feel like I needed to waste my time with a bad teacher." Well, Jimmy, some of us have been talking since we were out of diapers. We're still obliged to show up for English class. [Source]
