Krispy Kreme truck theft thwarted by highly motivated cops
2/14/2013In what must have been the most furious car chase incident in Georgia's history, Gwinnett County police pursued one James Freddy Major at speeds of up to 70 mph after he allegedly stole a Krispy Kreme doughnut truck last week. Major, who appeared to be under the influence at the time (duh), reportedly ran several red lights before cornering himself in a dead-end cul-de-sac. A short foot chase ended with a K9 bite and the man's arrest. Major was charged with three felonies, three misdemeanors and seven more traffic violations. No word on whether he ever got a doughnut.
