Man charged with child neglect for leaving pit bull to babysit infant
12/7/2012From what we've heard, the pit bull actually might be a better sitter than this guy. A Florida man has been charged with child neglect after leaving a 10-month-old boy in the care of his pit bull terrier while he went out to drink. According to police, the pit bull was supposedly watching the baby while James Irvine was out enjoying himself, even though it was shut outside the baby's room. Apparently, the child's mother had higher expectations for her son's child care and called police when she returned home from work and found the dog in charge. [Source]
