Brit stops for speed bumps while fleeing cops at 15 mph on moped
2/27/2013James Phillips of Bristol, England, led four police cars and a helicopter on a wild chase in which he plodded along at 15 mph ... on his moped. Because he was uninsured, Phillips panicked when he saw police and took off — responsibly slowing for speed bumps, of course — as a police helicopter filmed the whole thing. The video's harrowing high point occurs at 1:47, when a man attempts to punch Phillips off his vehicle and narrowly misses. Eventually, Phillips seems to realize the absolute absurdity of his situation and surrenders, missing the opportunity to lead police on a leisurely foot chase. [Source]
