Poor-as-a-church-mouse filmmaker goes begging for Oscar outfit

Borrowing diamonds from Harry Winston to attend a Hollywood do is one thing, but nominated filmmaker James Taylor, 32, is so poor he's scrounging an entire Oscar outfit and his mom's throwing a party to raise funds for his airfare from the U.K. No chance he'll look like a mix-and-match urchin: Paul Smith's throwing in a shirt, tie and shoes and posh tailor Higgins and Brown are supplying a suit. James' animated short "Head Over Heels" is up against a Disney flick. Tough competition, but James says he's just "excited to be going to Hollywood ...
