Gay football player says team dumped him for smooching 65-year-old BF

Freshman Jamie Kuntz alleges that he was kicked off the North Dakota State College of Science football team for being gay. Kuntz was in the press box while recovering from a concussion and got "bored," so he kissed his 65-year-old boyfriend (no, that’s not a typo), a smooch spotted by his teammates. Kuntz was confronted by head coach Chuck Parsons, initially denying the kiss (he offered a cringe-worthy story that the man was his grandfather), but later ‘fessing up. Kuntz was booted from the team because of the "detrimental conduct" of lying, but he believes that the school's decision was based on his sexuality, as several current Wildcats have been involved in serious (read: criminal) incidents without repercussions.
