Golf Channel's wimpy course simulator can't stand up to actual golfer
11/22/2012Mom always said not to play ball in the house, and that goes for golf, too. Maybe especially for golf. When Golf Channel host Gary Williams challenged long-drive bomber Jamie Sadlowski to a distance duel, no one considered that a guy who can rip a ball 445 yards might be hard on the furniture, or in this case, the in-studio course simulator. Actually, Sadlowski did issue such a caution, but Williams plunged ahead anyway, and now there's one used, fixer-upper simulator soon to show up for sale on Craigslist. One other thing Mom always said: If you're going to challenge a gorilla to a long-drive contest, make sure you go first.
